Endou Shoujirou, born March 3rd, 1970, is a Japanese director, game designer, scenario writer, and producer. He originally worked for [url=/p2900]Telenet Japan[/url], before starting [url=/p5240]Feycraft[/url], where he was representative director until their bankruptcy in 2000. He was the representative director of [url=/p5447]Witchcraft[/url], which he co-founded in 2008 with Wild Arms creator and former [url=/p2900]Telenet Japan[/url] colleague, [url=/s39794]Kaneko Akifumi[/url]. Kaneko was the representative director until 2015, when Endou took over so Kaneko could work on the Symphogear anime series, although he continued in an advisory role. In March of 2021 he announced that he was stepping down as representative director and is now a freelancer. Kaneko also returned to his position as representative director. His father was [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Abe]Abe George[/url], a novelist, manga writer, and talent, who passed away on September 2nd, 2019, at 82. He was most known for writing the manga Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin. Since 2009 on [url=/v28415]The Saiban'in ~Hitotsu no Shinjitsu, Muttsu no Kotae~[/url], Endou has often worked with and been good friends with [url=/s238]Ueda Metawo[/url], known for his work on [url=/p365]Black Cyc[/url] games, and who has contributed to many Witchcraft games, sometimes as character designer or director, but also in minor graphics and scripting roles. Ueda also made the drawing on the front page of Endou's website and he illustrated some chapters of Endou's sequel story to the Sega Saturn RPG Marica, from Feycraft (also made by Endou).
