KACHU-SYA was a vocal unit formed in 2004 to perform the theme songs for [url=/v1083]Kakyuusei 2[/url] and its TV anime adaptation [i]Kakyuusei 2 ~Hitomi no naka no Shoujo-tachi~[/i].
The group's name comes from the names of its' initial line-up:
[b]KA[/b]: [url=/s13]Kawaragi Shiho[/url], [b]CHU[/b]: [url=/s44]Nakajima Saki[/url] (from the on'yomi reading of 中), [b]S[/b] from each member's initial, and [b]YA[/b] from [url=/s18967]Miyano Shizu[/url].
A second iteration of the group, known as KACHU-SYA 2nd was formed in 2006 for performing the theme songs for the H-OVA adaptation [i]Kakyuusei 2: Anthology[/i]. Its members were [url=/s13]Kawaragi Shiho[/url], [url=/s590]Inokuchi Yuka[/url], and [url=/s1451]Ikeda Hikaru[/url].
The group is no longer active, however, the original KACHU-SYA was a guest performer under the name Kachu~sya?! for seiyuu vocal duo pink☆away's debut live event on July 18 2010.
