Renji is an ordinary guy living an ordinary life. He works a dull, uninteresting office job, and he hasn't had a serious relationship in... well, ever.
Renji is already thirty-two, but he's been spinning his wheels for years. He doesn't know what he wants out of life or what his future holds, which might explain why he's been daydreaming about his childhood more and more.
As a young boy, at least, Renji was cool. He protected his best friend, Ikue, from school bullies, and he even planned to planned to marry her one day. Ikue, at least, adored Renji, and he basked in her affection...
But, wait! Who is this handsome guy who's just started to work in Renji's department? He says he's Renji's new boss, and his name is Ikki - but why does he look so similar to Renji's long lost childhood friend? What the heck is going on - and how does he know about Renji and Ikue's promise to get married?!
