A lowly office worker is murdered in his own home, and with no one to mourn him is trapped in the 'Boundary Between Worlds'- coming into contact with a being known as Lafayette -Origin-. Now he has to learn how to become the next God of Boundaries and decide the fate of those who also end up in this very space.
