Upon the end of their long journey, when the troupe returned to Ciel'adan they met a traveling young man, Fio, who carried a cursed sword. Compelled by white magic he had come to Ciel'adan to attempt a trial of the sword. Lisabelle's interest was piqued......

Meanwhile, another visitor hailing from a floating mass in the faraway sky also came to Ciel'adan: the protector Ayfon, with his own particular mission......
