Loretta Langley is a fellow first-class passenger and Your Character's best friend. Her family became wealthy through the newspaper business, making some passengers believe she is on-board the ship to search for fellow passengers' secrets. She is empathetic when she learns Your Character's family is pressuring her to marry for wealth, particularly since Loretta herself was pushed into an unhappy marriage. However, she is now married to someone she loves. She approves of Your Character's relationship with Theo, regardless of Theo's gender or skin color, and helps Your Character sneak away to see them.
