When Lilly and her twin brother were babies, their parents got into a tragic car accident while coming back from a date night. An old man had a heart attack with his foot on the gas and ran a red light, smashing into their car as they crossed an intersection. The old man and Lilly's father died on impact, her mother later died in the hospital from collapsed lungs and internal hemorrhaging. Lilly's grandfather was their only remaining family, and so he took on the responsibility to raise them.
