Melanie is the older sister of Emily, Jessie, and now Frank. She is a confident and strong willed girl who tends to keep to herself most of the time. This isn't because she's shy or socially anxious, she simply stays away from people because she believes most people are self-centered and dishonest. Due to these beliefs, Melanie decided long ago that her family was all she needed. She's open to befriending some of her siblings' friends, as she trusts their judgment, but she remains cautious around them until she believes that she fully understands what kind of person they are. As a child, Melanie was very similar to Jessie. She was a happy and friendly child who could befriend nearly anybody. Though she often struggled to understand what other people were thinking, she didn't mind because she thought all people were kind at their core. This led to her being used and betrayed one too many times, which caused her immense pain and led her to becoming who she now is. One major trait that Melanie has gotten from her mother Natalie, aside from her breasts, is her soft spot for those who have suffered or are in need. This trait, while positive, is a source of internal struggle for Melanie. She knows that helping others is always the right thing to do, but some of her biggest betrayals have come from people who took advantage of her kindness for their own benefit. The only people Melanie never internally debates about helping are her family, and children. Due to her appearance, many underestimate Melanie and think she is a Stereotypical Materialistic Valley Girl, which couldn't be further from the truth. Melanie is deceptively smart and is quick to catch on to new ideas. Emily may outperform her in school, but that's only because Melanie doesn't care to study. She understands the subject matter immediately and as long as her grades stay 10% higher than the class average, she is satisfied. However, when it comes to subjects that pique her interest, Melanie can, and will, spend hours researching and reading about it to understand it completely. Melanie is also very athletic, she has always loved running and keeping herself fit. Even though running has become harder as she has grown (for two big reasons), she still trains whenever she has time so that she can stay healthy. [In game description]
