(Based on the Little Mermaid from "The Little Mermaid") Almost seven years ago, the once-vibrant Crown Prince Mer returned from the forest silent and composed, his bodyguards missing. For whatever reason, Prince Mer had lost not only his voice, but also his memories and personality. Gossip quickly spread that the price for his survival and safe return had been his soul. His parents reacted to the gossip with apathy; they were just glad he was came home safe and sound. To this day, they are oblivious to and fear the enigma that had impacted their son's life so tremendously. Prince Mer has grown into a gentle, poised man with a big heart and soft smile. He's not perfect by any means, and while many are still wary of his past and sudden change, the people of the Kingdom of Water have grown to love and support him regardless.
