Mari is one of Your Character's Downstreet neighbors. Unlike Sadie Hotchmitch, she is fairly friendly despite Your Character being seen as an outsider. Her kleptomania spurs her to steal things from her neighbors' homes, then brazenly lie about the item's origins when someone questions her. However, she is only able to lie convincingly if she believes the other person has no idea that she stole it. Outside of her theft, Mari is liked among her neighbors for being an excellent cook, although she refuses to share her recipes.
