Red is the default name of the player character and the visual novel's story is played from his perspective. At the start of the game, he is a new first-year student enrolling in Kobukan Academy on the recommendation of Professor Oak. As it is a rare opportunity for Red to leave his home back in Pallet Town, he commits and looks forward to the new experiences. Red was first introduced in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Green versions. by Version 1.0.3 the Red owns a pikachu since he was 10 years old. Who follows him to Kobukan Academy
