He’s literally some kind of demon. Being in the sun saps Bae of energy causing him to act ungodly lazy during the day. That, plus his immovable ego, make it hard to imagine how or why he’d kill someone. So, weirdly, the monster man who’s hated by pretty much everybody seems like the “safest” groupmate. That impression is wrong. Bae’s inhumanness gives him the option to kill anyone at any time. The thread stopping him from doing so is thin.
