One of Shuuki's many exes and the vice president of the literature club while in his third year of high school. Ryou suffers more than he lets on from the break-up, coupled with his confused feelings and thoughts towards his own sexuality. He eventually comes out as gay and drafts many apology letters to Shuuki that he can't bring himself to send. The two of them bump into each other by chance one day after they've both graduated from high school and talk things over, which finally gives Ryou the closure to forgive himself, forgive Shuuki, and move on. He also goes into law and he and Chiaki end up at a lot of the same seminars together. [From in-game bio]
