A young man who lost his memories. He's deemed by Irene, the city administrator, to be the Messiah. He has no idea why he was in cryosleep nor why he woke up in this world. Even so, he finds the melody Lisa likes humming quite nostalgic. Once the secrets of the world come to the forefront, Rei has no choice but to play his fateful role.
