He is the father of Maaya and Yuu. He and his wife are happy to see that their children get on well and don't argue with each other. They are amused to see them so close when Maaya asks Yuu to massage her shoulders. To see them like this ( especially Maaya who is always smiling ) warms their heart and comfort them. However, they don't suspect that their daughter's smile hides a whole other thing than a simple older sister/younger brother relationship.
