A senior in the protagonist's literature club, majoring in philosophy. A pretentious armchair critic who loves throwing around vague phrases like "capturing the essence" or "it lacks narrative depth" to sneer at whatever happens to be popular—or at the protagonist's work. Before the protagonist made their debut as a commercially published light novel author, he was the undisputed "king" of the club. Now that his position has been threatened, he's desperately trying to protect his status. He mocks the protagonist's writing from every conceivable angle, despite the fact that his own web novel was abandoned almost as soon as he started posting it. Approach him with caution. Get him talking, and before long he'll launch into something like, "You know, Lacan once said..."—spouting half-digested philosophy in an attempt to sound profound. For all his posturing, though, he's secretly obsessed with cute moe heroines! That said, compared to most people, he genuinely takes literature seriously, and even those around him have to admit he knows his books. [From official profile]
