The story follows Satoshi, a talented artist who has seemingly lost his way, no longer able to create. With the soon arrival of spring and thus the end of his school life, he lets the river of time carry him forward towards graduation in an existence full of indulgence and ennui.
Everything changes with a series of incidents at the school. Mysterious deaths. Disappearances. Phantoms and curses. All seemingly beyond him. But when he encounters a cryptic poet — a harbinger of spring and of death — he realises that he cannot continue running from the shadows of the past.
