Cognition is a psychological visual novel about a high school student named Matvey whose life is gradually falling apart.

His problems are snowballing:

• Debts owed to classmates.
• Constant humiliation.
• A tendency toward addiction.

His only "friend," Martyn, just adds fuel to the fire, since his advice only makes the situation worse. But Matvey is convinced that he is merely a victim of circumstance. Could it really be any other way?
