Are you longing for something greater?
The oil is running in my veins… The precious substance that makes the world turn. No one remembers how beings like me were made, we… we’ve just started to exist I guess. There’s no record of our beginning. Were we sent by higher being? Were we experiments of some madman? No one knows. The only thing that matters is that our own blood kills us. Without The Resort we all would die. It’s like heaven for the Oil donors. They care about us, they do everything they can to allow us live like normal beings. In exchange we offer our blood-oil, the fuel for many machines. I heard that deep underground you can find strange creatures that feast upon our blood… We are truly a resource to be utilized…
It is peaceful life and we are safe here and… and I have enough of this. I spent here 40 years. The only things I saw was the plain walls of this building and the empty streets behind my windows. I want to leave… I want to leave so much… Even if I die down there… But I don’t want to die. I want to experience the outside world. Look what it has to offer. I can’t survive without The Resort… What should I do?
