You are a space technician who owes a serious debt to the company that raised you. You've got a plan. At least, you believe you do. For the past year, you've been gathering data so you can leave the sector for good.
Now you're being sent to repair a Relay that has stopped working. Legally, they have to send at least two people, so they hire the cheapest Freelancer they can find and send you off. Twenty-two days on a ship with a complete stranger who is bigger and stronger than you.
