You play as a 19-year-old Finnish high school girl who is about to take graduation exams. Canis Carus stems from the scientific name of grey wolf Canis Lupus. Carus means 'dear, beloved, expensive.' Since in Latin 'lupus' means wolf and 'canis' means dog, the name is actually 'Dear Dog.'
